Couture Arabesque, No Really...!

Over the weekend I was googling Couture Arabesque to keep up-to-date with any mentions or internet coverage of my blog and/or shop. (Side note - I think this is an important thing for us bloggers to do in order to stay on top of our brand. I've found several link-backs to my blog that I never knew about and it is a good way to connect with even more bloggers and network yourself) Anyways... upon my googling I came across a recent runway review of the Cairo based designer, Soucha, and his show was described as ..... yes, Couture Arabesque! And I quite agree.. look at these beauties..

Love the mixture of traditional African garb and Middle Eastern lines... and the colors are amazing! Good to know Couture Arabesque is catching on... ;)

Oh Lord... They're Everywhere!!

Just got word that along with Christie's, the Kerry Taylor Auctions will also be selling some of Liz's gowns including the Balenciaga Saree pictured above.. I'm curious to know how the auction house got ahold of the Taylor threads since I thought Christie's had the exclusive on this, but perhaps this is somehow unrelated to the mass sale happening in December. 

Oooh ooh! And I also just learned that the Christie's auction will also include an online portion for those of us who may not be bathing in a pool of dollars, it includes accessories and jewelry pieces that are of lesser monetary value than the major collection... the online auction opens for bidding on December 3rd, so mark your calendars! 

Ta Dah!! Couture Arabesque Grand Opening!

This morning Couture Arabesque Vintage is up and running and I couldn't be happier! I've been scouring estate sales and resale shops for months and have stocked up on some very special pieces which are now available to you all... so far we have 12 items in the shop but that is just the beginning.. I have tons of designer bags, more exotic accessories and clothing items that will make you salivate...

Couture Arabesque Vintage Preview...

Coming soon, very soon... This week I've been previewing just a small taste of my Couture Arabesque Vintage inventory and I am so excited to launch the shop next week!! It's been quite a long time coming but I've found some fabulous items that I know you'll all adore... so far we've had some amuse-bouches by the likes of Dior, Givenchy, Gucci and Chanel but there are so many designer items for you all and I just cannot wait to unveil them...

I'd also like to draw your attention to my photographer, Lauren Dumas. She's quite young but I think she has some amazing talent (and she just happens to be my lil' cousin) please check out her site here. If you live in the LA area give her a ring and she'll fix you up quite nicely.
